ABOUT ME

I'm an aspiring author and screenwriter currently living in different parts of the world. I was one of the writers for MAS TV SHOW pilot, and an executive producer for a short film called "Dry on a Sunday." I'm also an award winner for The Lift-Off Global Network, Pinewood Studios Screenwriting contest where the pilot episode of "The Big Unchill" came in first place.
For the past 4 years, I've been travelling and writing about my experiences living with friends, family and even strangers. Learning about cultures, traditions, religions and even spirituality has given me perspective on many aspects of my life and a sense of 'the self.' I try to capture all these experiences in my writing and in the classroom as an educator.
The Foragers takes place in Japan, a place I visited and lived in for 3 months. I came to learn about the First Nations called Ainu. Not many people know about them, so I have mentioned them in this series. I've also been to South Korea and witnessed the harshness of the forced military service on boys once they come of age. I portray this through another one of my characters. The Kan was actually a sixth sense/intuition that martial artists practiced in Japanese history.
The Deadly Mark takes place in England, another place I got to visit while studying Shakespeare at Oxford University. I visited many castles that I describe in my novel, my favorite being The Royal Pavilion.
